Gift from my son

I mentioned earlier that my son was excited about a Christmas gift he had for me. He bought it on his own, with his own money he saved. This is what he gave me - wow!

He got this from Penney’s - fine jewelry - I am so blessed that my 15 year old son would [...]

Now driving!

Also, today is my son’s 15th birthday! He got his learner’s permit. I can’t believe it. He really does a good job driving though. I am so proud of him. He says he has bought me a Christmas gift that is so special I will scream. I can’t wait to find out what it is!

One young woman who was on the first floor of Von Maur gave a testimony in church on Sunday. She is a member there. She [...]

A Senseless act of violence

The people of Nebraska are grieving this senseless act. It is hard to imagine someone being empty enough, callous enough, self-centered enough to walk in a public place and randomly shoot people. Hundreds of people have now lost a loved one. No one can take their place. There are so many hurting hearts. So many [...]

Great movie - August Rush!

August Rush is an awesome movie. It is like a beautiful symphony. So many beautiful shots. A great story. The “critics” don’t like the fact that it is so full of beauty and miracles. We have become so cynical, it is hard to appreciate a story about a miracle. That is too bad. They missed [...]
